Local sports people being recognized at Sport Excellence Awards Friday

Some local sports people will be recognized tonight (Friday, April 12) at the Northwest Alberta Sport Excellence Awards.
They are taking place at Clarkson Hall in Evergreen Park.
The awards are being given out in a dozen categories, including Male and Female Athlete of the Year, along with awards for coaches, officials and volunteers.
There are more than 40 nominees across all categories. The full list can be found here.
