Clairmont brush fire under control

The County of Grande Prairie says the 30 hectare brush fire northeast of Clairmont is now under control as of Monday, April 22.
County fire crews and Alberta Wildfire are still working in the area to identify and extinguish hot spots within the perimeter.
They would like to extend their gratitude to mutual fire aid over the weekend from the City of Grande Prairie as well as Alberta Wildfire to keep the fire controlled.
The cause of the brush fire is still under investigation.
