City Hall reminding residents to secure items at city facilities

The City of Grande Prairie is reminding residents to properly secure their belongings while making use of city facilities.

The city is offering some tips to protect your possessions while visiting locations like the Eastlink Centre, Design Works Centre, Activity & Reception Centre and the Aquatera Outdoor Pool.

People are reminded to bring and use their own lock on the provided lockers avoid bringing items of value wherever possible. They should also be aware of their surroundings and avoid leaving personal items accessible and unattended, even for a brief period.

Lockers are available at most recreational city facilities, but locks are only available for purchase at the Eastlink Centre.
