MD of Greenview conducting test of Voyent Alert system May 6

Residents living in the Greenview area may receive an emergency alert Monday, May 6, as a test is being conducted of the new Voyent Alert system.

Introduced in late January, Voyent Alert enhances media alerts during critical emergencies and provides day-to-day notifications on community events, facility hour changes garbage pick up and road closures.

Only registered residents will receive the test alert, they will not be required to take any actions.

Voyent alert was introduced to the County of Grande Prairie in mid-March.
