County of Grande Prairie fire crews on the scene of two fires

The County of Grande Prairie Fire crews are currently responding to a pair of fires.

The first is located northwest of Valhalla Centre in the forest protection area. Three homes have been evacuated as a precaution, and County fire crews along with Alberta Wildfire crews are currently battling the blaze.

Another fire, four kilometres east of Teepee Creek near Rural Road 31 and Township Road 740, is also currently being responded to by County Fire Crews, and Alberta Wildfire.

This fire is out of control and crews are working to contain the site, a specialized wildland fire crew is also on the scene, along with more equipment to respond to the blaze.
