Dawson Creek RCMP investigating discovery of human remains

Dawson Creek RCMP are investigating the discovery of human remains.

Mounties say they got a report on Saturday, May 18, of what were thought to be human remains found along the Kiskatinaw River.

Police say they are working to identify the remains.

The B.C. RCMP North District Major Crime Unit has taken over the investigation.

Mounties add there is no other information being released at this time, but that more may be released as it becomes available.
