The Work NW Alberta partnership has launched a new website to address regional workforce development needs within the Grande Prairie-Greenview corridor.
The partnership, consisting of the City and County of Grande Prairie, the Municipal District of Greenview, the Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce and Northwestern Polytechnic, have launched Work NW Alberta as part of a multi-year marketing strategy to entice talent from Canada and beyond to the region.
The website promotes job opportunities and the lifestyle benefits of the region, depicting it as an ideal destination for career growth, family well-being, work-life balance, and affordability.
The site includes information on where to find a job, where to live, and where to locate regional lifestyle amenities, and includes a section for local employers to receive recruitment-retention supports.
