GPPS repainting Rainbow Crosswalk moved to Thursday

Grande Prairie Pride Society will be conducting a painting project on June 6 as part of Pride Month.

It was scheduled to be on Monday, June 3, but was moved to Thursday due to the weather.

GPPS and volunteers will be gathering to repaint the rainbow crosswalk located at the intersection of 103 Avenue and 98 Street near Grande Prairie City Hall and to add a new second crosswalk as part of the project.

All are welcome to attend, a fundraiser BBQ will also be at the event.

The painting is expected to go from 10:30 a.m. into the afternoon, weather permitting.
