Evergreen Park hosting Indigenous Celebration

Evergreen Park is hosting its Indigenous Celebration Saturday and Sunday.
The highlight will be Indian Relay Racing in its first appearance at Evergreen Park.
Teams of riders take turns going around the track. The horses and riders usually have traditional clothes or markings. The horses are bareback, and the exchanges happen in front of the grandstand.
The weekend will also feature dancers, drummers, singers, tipis, and Indigenous food, art and crafts.
