Local archer wins gold at international competition

Sexsmith local, Austin Dougherty has come back from an international archery competition in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with some new hardware.
The competition was the Canada Cup West.
The 17-year-old won silver in the U18 Male Recurve category.
Dougherty was also a part of a Recurve Mixed Team with Sarah May of Manitoba. They placed fourth out of seven teams.
