Provincial government launches online survey on barriers for primary agriculture production

Alberta Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation RJ Sigurdson has launched an online survey on the challenges facing farmers and ranchers.
The survey asks about primary production, growing crops and livestock.
The government says the survey “will Inform policy development, where applicable.”
Alberta Grains says the survey questions include ones on barriers to establishing a farm or ranch, production costs and government programs or policies that would support agriculture.
