County Council approves Water Restriction Bylaw
County of Grande Prairie Council has approved a bylaw that would enable water restrictions during periods of extreme dryness and low water levels.
Bylaw 3234 enables the County to respond to low water levels in sources by implementing restrictions to customers connected to the County’s water systems, including Aquatera customers.
Outside of Aquatera’s service area, the County of Grande Prairie is responsible for managing the water supply for our users. This bylaw provides a necessary tool to safeguard the water supply for all residents and water users to meet everyone’s needs.
