City of Grande Prairie explains residential recycling

The City of Grande Prairie has shared a video on social media detailing residential recycling.

This comes after Council announced last week, that they are considering a transition to the new Alberta Government’s Extended Producer Responsibility waste management program.

The video gives residents a detailed look at how recycling currently runs in the City; the collection phase, processing phase, Eco Centre features and which products are accepted.

Anyone with questions about the current process or the proposed Extended Producer Responsibility is invited to engage with any of the City’s recycling social media posts and discuss any concerns or questions.
