City Council to hold transportation public hearing

City of Grande Prairie Council will hold a public hearing on a new transportation bylaw later this month.

It is set during the council meeting scheduled for Monday, August 26, at 6 p.m. in council chambers.

This is being done to gather community input on swapping out the current Transportation System Bylaw (C-1452) with an updated version, (C-1477) which complies with the Highways Development and Protection Act.

Any residents claiming to be affected by this change, or are interested, can make a presentation during this public hearing. They will have to submit their presentation ahead of time to the Legislative Services Department.

The meeting will also be available to residents as a live-stream broadcast for anyone interested in listening in.
