Vigen trails Laboucane for the lead at WPCA World Chuckwagon Finals

Following Day 2 of chuckwagon racing for the season finale event down in Ponoka, Chanse Vigen follows closely behind Jamie Laboucane for the top spot in the Century Downs “Winner’s Zone” Series Playoff Round.

Grande Prairie product Vigen claimed the fastest run of the night of 1:14.43, and cashes the top cheque for Night 2.

Laboucane was just 2 one-hundredths of a second slower than Vigen, but remains the man to beat with 23 points. Vigen has 21 points.

For the 36 drivers competing in the Wild West WPCA World Chuckwagon Finals Aggregate Championship, Laboucane is also top dog heading into Saturday evening. The four behind him this competition are; Jason Glass, Vigen, Rae Croteau Jr., and Layne Flad.
