Grande Prairie Storm to host special ceremony for Doug Edey

When the Grande Prairie Storm host the Olds Grizzly at Bonnett’s Energy Centre tonight; (Friday, September 20) a special pregame ceremony is planned for local Storm superfan and volunteer, Doug Edey.

Over the years, Edey has made numerous contributions to not only the Storm but many other recreational programs in the Peace region; which led the Storm to nominate him for the AJHL Viterra Salute to Service Volunteer Award.

Edey was then selected as the North Division recipient.

Residents and Storm fans alike are now invited to Bonnett’s Energy to honour Doug “for being such an important piece to the Storm family.”
