For the second time this month, a Grande Prairie Storm player has been chosen for the AJHL’s weekly awards.

Storm Forward Alec Hall was chosen as Rookie of the Week as he collected five points, over the Storm’s exciting two-game homestand with the Drumheller Dragons this past weekend.

The first night, (Friday, October 25) Hall was chosen as the Viterra AJHL Player of the Game, scoring the opening goal, and tacking on two more assists in the second period.

The following night Hall was the overtime hero and collected an assist to lift the Storm to another two points and extend their seven-game win streak.

Currently, Hall sits at twelfth in rookie scoring with 10 points in 14 games, while the Storm are still first in the North, with an 11-1-1-1 record. (Wins, Losses, Overtime Loss, Shootout Loss)

Hall and the Storm will next be in action on Friday, November 1 in Olds when they play the Grizzly’s, and try to make it eight games without a regulation loss.
