Team Balderson wins bronze at 2024 Canadian Mixed Championship

Sexsmith Curling Club and Grande Prairie Curling Centre’s Team Balderson is bringing home bronze from the 2024 Canadian Mixed Championship.

The Balderson rink, representing Alberta, beat Team Manitoba (Wiebe) 9-4 in eight ends. Team Manitoba forfeited the match in the end.

The championship was held in St. Catherines, Ontario.

Team Alberta is made up of skip Kurt Alan Balderson, lead Stephanie Sara Malekoff, second Dylan Vavrek, and third Janais DeJong.
