Three teams bring home medals from Volleyball Provincials

St. Joe’s wins 3A gold

Grande Prairie’s St. Joe’s Senior Girls volleyball team came home from Ponoka this past weekend without losing a game.

The Sr. Girls are the 2024 3A Volleyball Provincial Champions after beating Cochrane in the championship game on Saturday in three sets (19-25, 25-23, 15-5).

Beaverlodge brings home 3A bronze

The Beaverlodge Sr. Boys volleyball team has returned home from Lloydminster with a bronze medal.

STM captures 1A silver

Fairview’s St. Thomas Moore Senior Boys volleyball team has brought home silver from provincials.

The 1A Volleyball Provincial Championships were held down in Pincher Creek.

The Kodiaks lost to the host team, St. Michael’s Dragons, in three sets in the gold medal match (23-25, 25-22, 10-15).
