Farm Credit Canada has given out grants of up to $500 to 4-H clubs across Canada.

The money comes from the FCC 4-H Club Fund.

Of the 48 clubs in Alberta getting funding, three are located in northwestern Alberta.

They are the Beaverlodge 4-H Club, the Prairie Rose 4-H Club in Valleyview and the Big River 4-H Club in La Crete.

Two clubs in the BC Peace are also among those getting funding.

They are the Groundbirch 4-H Multi Club and Silver Willow 4-H in Fort St. John.

Grants are given out every year to support 4-H clubs in Canada.

Since it started in 2013, FCC has given out more than $1 million in funding to 2100 clubs.
