City of Dawson Creek ratifies new collective agreement with CUPE Local 2403

The City of Dawson Creek has ratified an agreement with the union representing their municipal workers.
The agreement with CUPE Local 2404 retroactively goes into effect January 2024 and will give multiple wage increases to city staff in 2024, 2025, and 2026.
The agreement recognized the work and commitment of staff to ensure Dawson Creek runs smoothly, and the city’s appreciation of their efforts, says the city in a news release.
Mayor Darcy Dober says the team plays a vital role in maintaining the quality of life in Dawson Creek and the agreement reflects the city’s gratitude.
