St. Joe’s all-stars highlight Senior Bowl Team North roster

Two high school football players from Grande Prairie have been selected to represent Team North in the 2025 Alberta Senior Bowl.

Celtic’s receiver Dylan Morin and Corner Thomas Lee were chosen for the squad, along with fellow St. Joe’s running back and Whitecourt native Alex Hiemstra.

All three seniors will now suit up on January 5 for the Senior Bowl, which is now played indoors at the Encana Dome in Calgary.

Alberta Football started this new tradition of playing the Senior Bowl in the new year, in 2024; in order to take “advantage of the indoor facilities now available, and also allow the all-stars to focus on their next challenges at the post-secondary level.”

Before 2024, the Alberta Senior Bowl was hosted at an outdoor field on May Long Weekend.
