GPRH employee wins over $645K in provincial healthcare staff lottery

A Grande Prairie Regional Hospital employee has started off the new year with an impressive windfall through a provincial staff lottery.

Louella Yaremchuk won $654,873.75 through the WinWin Staff Lottery December Quarterly Cash Draw. This lottery directly supports health foundations/trusts across Alberta with healthcare employees encouraged to participate.

The December draw was the largest Quarterly Cash 50/50 jackpot in the lottery’s history, totalling over $1.3 million.

Yaremchuk says she is shocked, but incredibly happy with her big win. She plans on using the money to help her family, support her children, and do a bit of travelling.

A similar lottery for not-just provincial healthcare staff that also supports the same cause, is Split the Pot. The lottery is a similar format and supports many regional healthcare foundations, including the GPRHF.
