Registration for the Grande Prairie and District Music Festival opens Monday, January 20.

The annual event celebrates students of music and speech arts from Northern Alberta and BC between the ages of 5 and 28.

Categories for the festival include Band, Piano, woodwinds, and musical theatre.

New to the event in 2025, discounts for registration fees can be given to applicants paying using a bursary and grants.

Registration closes February 24; the festival goes April 7 to May 2.
