Grande Prairie Storm build for the future with a local signing

Jan 22, 2025 | 12:25 PM

The Grande Prairie Storm still have a lot left to accomplish this season, however, they are already preparing for the future.

The Storm have signed local forward Max Fogle from the U18 Grande Peace Storm, who will be ready to suit up in the 2025/2026 season.

In the release, General Manager Mike Bomerback said “Max has been a player in our back yard for a number of years now. We have watched him continually get better and grow as a player and person. He has gone through the process of spring camps and main camps year after year the last few seasons and we are very happy to officially welcome him on board starting next season.”

“He’s a very reliable two way player that every night, you know what you’re getting. He has the skill to create offence and score goals and also has the ability to be very good defensively. He works hard and competes, and most importantly he’s a great individual.”

In six games as an affiliate with the Storm, Fogle notched his first career AJHL goal and added an assist.

The Grande Prairie Storm are next in action tonight (Wednesday, January 22) in Fort McMurray, where they will face the Oil Barons.
