NPHL

In the North Peace Hockey League playoffs Thursday night, Spirit River is in Grande Prairie. The Rangers lead the best-of-seven series 2-0.

Fox Creek in Falher. The Pirates are up 2-0

Fort St. John in Dawson Creek. The Canucks lead 2-0

Wednesday night, Manning beat Valleyview 7-2 to take a 2-0 lead in that series. Game 3 Friday in Manning.

All the NPHL games start at 8:30 p.m.

NWJHL

In the Northwest Junior Hockey League playoffs Wednesday night, the Wheat Kings downed visiting Beaverlodge 8-2. The Blades still lead the best-of-five series 2-1 and will host Game 4 Friday.

Dawson Creek won 5-4 in Peace River and now leads that series 2-1. Game 4 Friday in Dawson Creek.

Also Friday, La Crete in Sexsmith. The visitors lead 2-0.

Puck drop for all those Friday games is at 8 p.m.
