Grande Prairie Regional Tourism Association inviting community stakeholders to join in Destination Professionals Day celebrations

The Grande Prairie Regional Tourism Association is celebrating Destination Professionals Day today (February 19).

The day honours people and organizations that drive tourism, economic growth and community vitality worldwide.

The GPRTA says its work in our region includes creating the annual visitor guide, initiatives to enhance connectivity among operators in the region, and highlighting prospective partners

They are encouraging partners and community stakeholders to join in the celebration by sharing stories and shining a light on their work to promote the region.

February 19 marks the start of the Detroit Convention and Businessman’s League, the world’s first destination marketing organization, in 1896.
