Hockey, archery, artistic swimming, ski hills this weekend

NWJHL

The Northwest Junior Hockey League play-offs continue Friday night.

Dawson Creek is in Fort St. John for Game 1 of their series. Face-off at 8 p.m. Game 2 Sunday in Fort St. John at 4 p.m.

Beaverlodge is in La Crete for Game 1 of their Division Final Saturday. Face-off at 7 p.m. Game 2 Sunday in La Crete at 1:30.

NPHL

In the North Peace Hockey League playoffs Friday, Falher in Dawson Creek for Game 1 of their semi-final series.

Saturday, Spirit River in Manning for Game 1 of their semi.

Those games both start at 8:30 p.m.

Sunday, Dawson Creek in Falher for Game 2. It will start at 8 p.m.

Archery

Game Country Archers will host the 3D Annual Indoor Shoot Saturday and Sunday at the Drysdale Area.

Spectators are welcome. There is seating in the bleachers.

Hours for the competition will be 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. until about 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Artistic Swimming

The Eastlink Centre will host Alberta Artistic Swimming’s Rocky Mountain Qualifier Friday through Sunday.

Competition start times go from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 7:20 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Ski Hills

Nitehawk ski hill is open Friday from 5:30 to 9:30, and from 11-5 Saturday and Sunday.

The Tube Zone will be open Friday from 5 to 7 and 7:30 to 9:30, noon-2 and 2:30 to 4:30 Saturday and Sunday.

Whispering Pines Ski Hill is open Saturday and Sunday from 10-4 p.m. Rental shop opens at 9 a.m.

Fairview Ski Hill is open from 11-5 Saturday and Sundays.

Spring Lake Ski Hill is open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Little Smoky Ski Area is open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Misery Mountain is open from 4-9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Powder King is open from 9-3:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
