Grande Prairie holding State of the City Mar. 25

Mar 3, 2025 | 11:24 AM

The City of Grande Prairie’s annual State of the City event will be taking place later this month.

The City is inviting members of the community to attend a pair of panel discussions centered around the growth, opportunities and future of the City and greater Grande Prairie region.

The event will include updates on the Maskwa Medical Centre and plans for the Wonder Valley AI data centre project coming to the Municipal District of Greenview.

Tickets for the event are available online until March 17; the State of the city is happening March 25.

It will be uploaded to the City’s YouTube channel afterwards for anyone unable to attend in person.

This State of the City panel is taking place following several changes in Grande Prairie; GP-RAVO shutting down operations, Wendy Bosch resigning from Council, and the end of the Grande Prairie Street Festival to name a few.
