Town of Fox Creek launching a new wildfire mitigation initiative

The Minister of Forestry and Parks will be in Fox Creek Friday, March 14.

Todd Loewen is visiting the town as it launches its new wildfire management initiative that uses mushrooms to reduce wildfire fuels.

Loewen will be joined by Fox Creek municipal officials and key stakeholders from the region for the event.

A news conference is scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
