City of Grande Prairie completes snow clearing operations ahead of schedule

The City of Grande Prairie says residential snow clearing operations wrapped up Friday, March 21.
Crews finished clearing operations in the Week B neighbourhoods Friday after completing the Week A rotation Thursday.
Residential snow clearing is typically completed in a two-week rotation, but crews were able to progress into Week B early thanks to recent warm weather and favorable conditions.
Director of Engineering and Transportation Wade Nellis says the city appreciated the community’s support and understanding throughout the rotation.
