Huskies win NWJHL League Championship, advance to provincials

The Strike Group North West Junior Hockey League’s playoffs were completed on Saturday up in La Crete.
The Fort St. John Huskies won the league championship in six games over the Lumber Barons, winning 5-3 in the final game.
The action isn’t over yet for Fort St. John though, they have advanced to Junior B provincials down in Morinville, and will be back on the ice Wednesday to represent the league.
