OTTAWA — The Ottawa Redblacks have signed head coach Bob Dyce to a contract extension through the 2026 CFL season, the team announced Thursday.

Dyce, 59, of Winnipeg, begins his third full season on Ottawa’s sideline. The Redblacks posted a 9-8-1 record last season to make the CFL playoffs for the first time in six years.

Under Dyce, Ottawa posted a franchise-best 7-1-1 home record in 2024.

Overall, Dyce has a 14-25-1 record with Ottawa. He was named the Redblacks’ interim head coach late in 2022 before becoming the full-time head coach shortly after that season.

Dyce originally joined the Redblacks in 2016 as their special-teams co-ordinator.

He has won Grey Cups as an assistant with Ottawa (2016) and Saskatchewan (2013).
