City to begin street sweeping Sunday night

The City of Grande Prairie is set to begin street sweeping operations next week.

Starting Monday, crews will begin clearing debris from roadways, medians, barriers, and boulevards along arterial roads and high-traffic routes.

Residential sweeping is expected to begin in late May.

The sweeping will take place 24 hours a day from Sunday at 10:00 p.m. until Friday at 10:00 pm.

Debris collected such as gravel, mud, and other natural material, will be disposed of at the Aquatera landfill.
