Road win for Storm in Round 2 playoff opener

The Storm opened Round 2 of the AJHL playoffs with a 4-1 win in Whitecourt Friday night.

Nicholas Jones made 32 saves to pick up the victory in net.

Brandon de Haas, Will Harris, Alec Hall and Chase Christensen has the goals for Grande Prairie.

The Wolverines will host Game 2 Saturday night. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.

The series returns to Grande Prairie for Game 3 Monday. Face off for that game will also be at 7 p.m.
