Fatal vehicle rollover on Highway 674 Wednesday night

One man has passed away following a vehicle rollover in the County of Grande Prairie.

Grande Prairie RCMP say on Wednesday April 9, at 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a single vehicle rollover on Highway 674 and Range Road 43.

Emergency responders were able to get the lone occupant out of the vehicle and STARS was dispatched, but the driver perished at the scene.

The deceased has been identified as a 68-year-old man from the County of Grande Prairie.

The highway has since been cleared and traffic flow has resumed to normal.

Alberta RCMP is extending their condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of the deceased.
