Three Storm players make AJHL North Division All-League Team

Storm players make up half of the AJHL’s North Division All-League Team.

That includes goalie Nicholas Jones, defenceman Logan Cunningham and forward Tomas Marinkovic.

Two Whitecourt Wolverines; defenceman Xavier Lacoste and forward Jalen Blanchet; and a Fort McMurray Oil Baron forward Danny Akkouche, round out the team

Grande Prairie’s opponent in the AJHL Finals, the Calgary Canucks, have two players on the South Division All-League team; defenceman Nathan Maloney and forward Jack Plandowski.

The south team also includes goalie Alex Scheiwiller from the Canmore Eagles, defenceman Tate Yule, forward Bradley Gallo from the Drumheller Dragons, and forward Sam Lozinski from the Camrose Kodiaks.

The Canucks host the Storm in Game 1 of the final series on Friday, April 18.
