Grande Prairie RCMP sharing March 2025 police event statistics

The Grande Prairie RCMP detachment has released its rough crime statistics for March of 2025.

The RCMP are reporting that the total number of police events in the City and rural communities appear to have gone up in March 2025, compared to March 2024.

Looking at specific offence types, possession of stolen property appears to have had the largest increase in March of this year, while Theft from a Motor Vehicle went down slightly compared to last March.

The RCMP detachment says these numbers are still raw and do not reflect their official crime statistics.
