Elections Canada shares initial early voting figures for 2025 Federal Election

Elections Canada has released preliminary numbers for how many people have already voted in the 2025 Federal Election.
Current numbers show 7,280,975 people are estimated to have voted early to elect a new Prime Minister, exceeding the 5,852,391 early voters in the previous Federal Election in 2021.
In Alberta, 815,131 early voters have hit the polls, compared to the 646,090 than the last election.
Locally, 19,434 voters have hit the polls in the Grande Prairie Riding, 17,655 in the Peace River-Westlock riding, and 30,250 in the Yellowhead Riding.
