Grande Prairie RCMP seeking witnesses of fatal shooting

After a fatal shooting in the area of 96 Street and 112 Ave yesterday (Wednesday, Feb 11) in Grande Prairie, RCMP are asking for the public’s help locating witnesses.

Mounties say they would like to speak with the occupants of a large “dump truck” with a white cab and silver box as they “may have witnessed the crime;” Along with anyone who was in the Mountview area, from 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb 10, until 12:10 a.m. on Wednesday and saw something suspicious.

Anyone with information about this investigation or was an occupant of that truck, can call the detachment at 780-830-5700.

RCMP note that the Alberta Major Crimes Unit is continuing its homicide investigation.

At this time, no new information has been released, but more updates are expected.
