City of Grande Prairie snow removal crews anticipating 5-10 cm of snowfall

Mar 24, 2026 | 12:03 PM

City of Grande Prairie crews are continuing their snowmelt management and snow removal operations on Tuesday but may need to change priorities soon.

Approximately 5 to 10 cm of snow are expected to fall Tuesday as a yellow snowfall warning remains in place.

Should the snow pick up, city crews will focus on priority road clearing and sanding.

For the time being they remain focused on removing piles from cul-de-sacs, repairing potholes, and cleaning paved lanes.
