Frost warning back in effect

A frost warning is in effect for much of the province, including the Peace.

The warning stretches from the Peace region, southeast across central and southern Alberta.

Overnight lows of near or below freezing are expected tonight (Monday, Sept. 14).

Environment Canada says damage to plants, trees, and crops is possible, and suggests residents take “preventative measures to protect cold-sensitive plants, trees, and crops. Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas.”
