Alberta legislature ends what could be last sitting before spring election

Alberta politicians have wrapped up what could be the final sitting of the legislature before the spring provincial election.
Premier Rachel Notley says the vote will be sometime next March, April or May, as mandated in legislation.
That means the campaign could begin as early as February.
United Conservative Leader Jason Kenney says Notley’s policies are damaging Alberta’s economy and that the sooner the vote comes the better.
