Alberta’s United Conservatives are meeting in Red Deer to hammer out what the new party stands for.
Party members are expected to debate proposals ranging from returning to the 10 per cent flat income tax to expanding private service delivery in the public health system.
Leader Jason Kenney says the resolutions will help the party build its platform for the provincial election next spring.
One resolution would look at possibly defunding some medical services, which could include abortions.
