Beaverlodge player to represent Alberta at Canada Games

One Peace Region player has been named to Hockey Alberta’s Under 18 women’s team for the 2019 Canada Games.
Brooklyn Tews of Beaverlodge is a blueliner who currently plays for the Edge School for Athletes in Calgary, where she has recorded five assists in 17 games
She also played in four games at the 2014 Alberta Winter Games.
In all, 13 minor hockey associations from around the province are represented on Team Alberta
The Canada Games will run from February 15 to March 3 in Red Deer, with the women’s hockey starting on February 24 and concluding March 2.
