Crews blocked from working on Kinder Morgan pipeline expansion

Opponents of the Kinder Morgan pipeline expansion say they managed to block construction crews from getting to work today in Burnaby.
David Mivasair says about a dozen protesters gathered outside the Westridge Marine Terminal before sunrise to stop crews from getting through the gates.
The move comes less than a week after the R-C-M-P served protesters stationed in an illegally parked van across from Kinder Morgan’s entrance with a warrant and used a battering ram to enter the vehicle and arrest two women.
Pipeline opponents say their intention is to cost the company money and show potential Kinder Morgan investors that the planned twinning of the Trans Mountain pipeline is a risky venture
