Celtics fall short of provincial football final

For the second straight year, the St. Joe’s Celtics will not play for a provincial tier 2 High School football title. 

And for the second straight season, the Lloydminster Barons are the team responsible for ending the Celtics season. 

The #1 ranked Barons beat the Celtics 38-15 in the Tier 2 North final, played Saturday at CKC Field. 

Prior to losing the past two North finals, the Celtics had qualified for three straight provincial finals.
