Another graduating goaltender from the North West Junior Hockey League is headed to Marian University in Wisconsin.

The Fort St.John Huskies announced Monday afternoon that two time NWJHL Goalie of the Year Jonathon Bateman has committed to the school for the 2019-2020 season.

During the regular season, the Calgary product had a 2.89 GAA and a .896 SV%.

Bateman has been with the Huskies for 3 seasons including the last 2 where they won the NWJHL title and appeared in Provincials.

Bateman will join fellow graduating goaltender Will McCreight of the JDA Kings on the Sabres next season along with former Huskies Captain Jarod Lang.
