May 1, 2019 | 7:57 AM

The top bantam female hockey players will be in Leduc starting Thursday as the annual Alberta Challenge takes place.

There will be just one representative from the peace region taking part in the event.

Grande Prairie’s Ava Glenn was named to the roster of Team North Yellow following the regional camp in Fort Saskatchewan April 5-7.

In addition to competing at the Alberta Challenge, Glenn will also be vying for a spot at the U16 Summer Camp which will be held in Red Deer in July.

Glenn’s first game at the Alberta Challenge will be Thursday night at 6:15 p.m. when they face Team South Black.
