Alberta’s Opposition leader told the Alberta Federation of Labour’s weekend convention in Calgary that the province’s new premier isn’t interested in standing up for working people.
Rachel Notley said Jason Kenney’s talk about things such as clawing back overtime pay will cost workers thousands of dollars.
The United Conservative government responded that Calgary and Edmonton have the second and third highest unemployment rates in Canada, and that Albertans gave a resounding endorsement to its plan to re-ignite the economy.
